Are there actuators that you cannot repair or recondition?

VIR has the capabilities to repair and recondition any pneumatic and electric actuator. If conditions are such that the actuator cannot be repaired, we have the capabilities to offer a replacement. 

How many times can an actuator be repair or reconditioned?

VIR can repair and recondition actuators numerous times, as long as the actuator mechanical components are in good condition. Our process includes an in-depth testing and calibration where we determine the mechanical functioning of the actuator.

What information do you need to determine if you can repair or recondition a custom valve?

We need an existing valve data sheet or digital pictures. If these options are not available, VIR offers field service that includes sending an employee to properly inspect the valve.
